Choquiero has its very own line of organic chocolate bars, all four of which are entirely vegan and ethically sourced, as evidenced by Choquiero’s presence on The Food Empowerment Project’s chocolate list. (This list is also available as an downloadable app for your phone and helps shoppers make informed decisions about the chocolate they purchase. The list indicates whether chocolate has been sourced from areas with high rates of child labor and/or slavery).
Choquiero’s products are locally-made and all packaging is compostable! Also, unique is the absence of cane sugar or seed oils in the chocolate’s ingredient list. Indeed, navigating each product’s ingredient list is refreshingly simple as there are no strange additives or preservatives.
