Two Veganic Microgrants Available

The folks at NAVCS (North American Veganic Certification Standard) have announced a new veganic funding initiative and are now accepting applications for $350 microgrants.

Do you have a veganic growing project that could benefit from a microgrant? Between now and the end of October, the folks at NAVCS (North American Veganic Certification Standard) are accepting applications for two $350 grants.

Do you have a veganic growing project in mind whether in an urban setting or rurally? Do you wish to transition your operation to veganic? Major infrastructure project in the works on your existing farm? Considering a re-wilding or re-forestation project? Do you have a sensitive, threatened or endangered floral, faunal or aquatic creature you are wishing to protect? WE CAN HELP!

According to their website, the NAVCS mission is to certify all North American growers and farmers seeking veganic certification, regardless of size or income level:

NAVCS will aid in the start-up, transition and expansion of veganic farm operations through yearly grants, as well as provide assistance to re-wilding and re-forestation projects within veganic farming systems.

Grants will be awarded in January of 2024, and all that’s required is a simple description of the project (along with an expense budget.)
