When I crossed the entrance and saw this beautiful place, I didn’t know what to expect. But you guys all made it easy. You made me feel at home right away. This place has given me the peace I needed to be present; to reconnect with myself and with Mother Earth.
Thanks to each of you, vegan family, I’ve truly and deeply understood what being vegan means. Seeing the way you talk about animals, looking at your sparkling eyes while speaking about veganism, listening to some of your incredible stories and seeing everything you’ve achieved because of your perseverance and passion, it makes me realize how important this movement, this purpose is, and how crucial are our individual decisions, and the impact they have.
I will always remember that I cannot stop others from committing murder or being bad people, but I can stop myself from participating in it. It’s my decision, my choice, and I can liberate myself from being part of this torture.
Although I was aware of it, you have made me connect with veganism in a different way. I’m going back home even more sure, convinced, and aware of my decision, as well as my responsibility and the impact that it can have in the future in the world.
