The Veganic Summit 2026, taking place November 6–8, will bring together international experts, farmers, and gardeners for a free three-day online event dedicated to sustainable, animal-free agriculture.
The summit will explore veganic farming, an innovative approach to growing food without animal-derived fertilizers such as manure, blood meal, or bone meal. Instead, veganic growers use plant-based compost, cover crops, living mulch, and other ecological plant-based techniques to maintain healthy fertile soil.
This year’s program features experienced growers and researchers, including Iain Tolhurst, a pioneer with 50 years of sustainable farming experience, Helen Atthowe, author of The Ecological Farm, Meg Kelly, co-founder of the Veganic Agriculture Network, Omowale Adewale, author of An Introduction to Veganism and Agricultural Globalism, Dr. Nanci Guest, nutritional sciences researcher, and Juliette Bryant, trustee of the Vegan Organic Network.
Presentations will cover soil health, plant-based fertilization, permaculture, veganic school gardens, food sovereignty, greenhouse growing, small-space gardening, and successful veganic farms around the world.
The event also includes a live gardening Q&A on November 7, allowing participants to ask questions directly to experienced veganic growers.
Open to everyone, from beginners to professional farmers, the Veganic Summit aims to demonstrate that productive agriculture can be both environmentally sustainable and compassionate toward animals.
