Over the years, one of the primary methods Gentle World has used to spread our message is to offer incredibly delicious meals to the public. We are firm believers that a taste is worth a thousand words, as mouth-watering vegan food sometimes speaks even more clearly than the health, environmental and even ethical benefits of eating food that is animal-free.
Through meals at our center, seminars, cooking classes, catering, celebrity vegetarian banquets and our world-famous vegan restaurant on Maui, we have been feeding people for over four decades. The most common reaction (after “Wow! This is vegan?”) has always been: “I would eat this way if you cooked for me”.
Obviously we can’t cook for the whole world or even a small part of it, which is why we are always happy to learn about vegan companies that are trying to do just that. While visiting the mainland this summer, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to sample some vegan dishes lovingly prepared (and delivered to our door) by Veggie Brothers.
From the selection we received, we particularly liked the Thai Chicken Bliss, Fudge Lovers’ Brownies and French Toast. Even our non-vegan family members were impressed with the flavors and textures. But whatever your favorites, Veggie Brothers have a full selection of pre-packaged, heat and serve, yummy foods that make it easy and enjoyable to eat plant foods.
There are many people who want to eat vegan, but are simply too busy to prepare their own meals from scratch. Most people aren’t fortunate enough to have a vegan restaurant nearby, and many couldn’t afford to eat there if they did! Just the fact that Veggie Brothers are providing such an important service to the public is a beautiful offering. What makes it even better is that the food is really good, from appetizers to desserts, and is reasonably priced as well!
From vegan ham and cheese to chicken pot pie, vegan mozzarella sticks to chocolate chip cookies, all delivered directly to your door, Veggie Brothers have virtually eliminated the main excuse voiced by people who want to eat a vegan diet, but think they cannot.
Give them a try and let us know what you think.
