In addition to our one-week immersive (live-in) educational experience for those new to plant-based living, Gentle World also offers long-term placements for a 2-6 month period, at both our Hawaii and New Zealand locations.
Just as with our short-term visitor program, participants will have the opportunity to learn about many different aspects of vegan and sustainable living, including plant-based cooking and nutrition, veganic gardening, and practical ecology, in a positive and supportive environment, surrounded by people with decades of educational experience.
With a long-term placement, individuals will have the chance to take their education much further, including modules in professional food preparation, advanced veganic growing, and the fundamentals of inspirational education, covering both online and in-person outreach. Companion animal care, plant-based healing and everyday nutrition will also be explored.
Interns will be given their own space in one of our simple but clean guest accommodations, with access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Preference will be given to those who have already participated in our educational program for at least one week, but we invite everyone to apply. To learn more about the application process, please contact us.
