5 Delicious Raw Pie Recipes!

From a classic American Apple pie to our Tropical Mango Banana Pie, these simple, fun and raw Gentle World pie recipes put a new twist on both classic and exotic desserts.

Each of these recipes uses a blend of delicious nuts, seeds, fruits and spices to create both familiar and innovative flavors.

If you’re a raw food purist, be warned though: some of the recipes do include frozen bananas and maple syrup, but the maple syrup is easy to substitute for soaked dates* and the creamy texture frozen bananas give our pies is just too good to pass up.

Even if you’ve never made a pie before, or a raw dessert for that matter, these dishes will be a cinch to perfect and enjoy. So next time you’re having friends over for dinner or a special lunch why not try your hand at one of these fresh raw party pies!

* If you are substituting soaked dates for maple syrup then the ratio is approximately 1 date per 1/8 cup syrup. Soak the dates in the water until soft, then blend before adding to the dish.
